Centro Brera – Where culture meets contemporary art
In the beating heart of Milan, among the most iconic streets of the Brera district, stands the Centro Brera, a historic venue that houses the 20th Century Library, one of the most significant treasures of Italian cultural heritage.
Here, among shelves that tell of over a century of artistic, political, and social thought, art and culture merge to create a place of meeting, research, and inspiration.
Always a point of reference for scholars, artists, and enthusiasts, Centro Brera is today an excellent venue for events, exhibitions, and initiatives that promote contemporary creativity.
Its bright, meticulously designed halls host exhibitions, awards, talks, and meetings that celebrate creativity in all its forms. Located just a few steps from the Academy of Fine Arts and the Pinacoteca, the Brera Center represents the meeting point between tradition and contemporaneity, between history and the new visions of European art.
Its refined atmosphere, bathed in warm light and set in a context of authentic Milanese charm, makes every experience a moment of prestige and belonging.
Choosing Centro Brera means entering a shared history made of art, beauty, and recognition.
It is a place where your artwork dialogues with tradition, where every artist becomes part of a community that continues to shape European culture.
A unique place, where few can exhibit, but everyone can dream.
Made4Art Gallery
The MADE4ART Gallery is a space dedicated to contemporary art, located in the heart of Brera, Milan, at Via Ciovasso 17. Founded in 2012 by Vittorio Schieroni and Elena Amodeo, it was created as an innovative reality capable of combining exhibition, communication, and consultancy, becoming a meeting point for artists, collectors, and the public.
The gallery hosts exhibitions of photography, painting, and video art, with particular attention to curatorial quality and the promotion of emerging talent. MADE4ART regularly participates in fairs and cultural initiatives such as MIA Photo Fair and Brera Design District, standing out for its dynamic and interdisciplinary approach.
Alongside its exhibition activities, it offers communication and artistic promotion services, from the creation of catalogs and editorial materials to the management of events and digital projects. Thanks to this integrated vision, MADE4ART is today recognized as a creative laboratory and a point of reference for contemporary art in Milan.
Battaglia Gallery
The Antonio Battaglia Gallery, located at Via Ciovasso 5 in the heart of Brera, Milan, is a contemporary art space founded in 1997 by Antonio Battaglia, who chose to dedicate himself to promoting art after studying at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Since its inception, the gallery has stood out for the quality of its exhibitions and for its focus on Italian and international artists who experiment with innovative languages in painting, sculpture, and photography.
The philosophy of the Battaglia Gallery is to offer a dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, presenting exhibition projects that combine critical rigor, aesthetic sensitivity, and openness to new trends in visual art. The exhibitions hosted, often organized in collaboration with curators, critics, and cultural institutions, represent an opportunity for dialogue and growth for both artists and the public.
Over more than twenty-five years of activity, the Antonio Battaglia Gallery has become a point of reference in the Milanese art scene, helping to strengthen the role of the Brera district as a vital center of creativity. With an approach that combines passion, expertise, and research, Antonio Battaglia continues to promote contemporary art as a living and shared experience, firmly maintaining the original mission of his gallery: to give space to talent and to spread the culture of art.
