An award of excellence for your art
The Premio Artista d’Europa 2025 was created with the goal of enhancing and promoting the work of international artists, offering them a real opportunity to showcase their talent in the heart of one of the world’s most fascinating cities: Venice.
A maximum of 5 overall winners will be selected, but all artists admitted to the award will have the extraordinary opportunity to receive the Certificate of Merit on the prestigious stage of the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista, one of the most evocative places in Venice, a symbol of history and culture.
Furthermore, each participant will have the opportunity to exhibit their work via video in a hall of the Artespaziotempo gallery, in the heart of Venice, from December 6 to 16, 2025, thereby ensuring international visibility in a highly prestigious artistic context.
Adding further significance to the event will be the presence of Roberto Litta, renowned art critic and RAI television personality, who will host the official ceremony by highlighting the merit and dedication of the selected artists.

Who is the award for?
The Award is set up for professional or non-professional painters, sculptors, photographers, digital artists who wish to exhibit their art in a prestigious context to increase their visibility and enter an international circuit, aimed at their promotion and recognition.
It is possible to submit one or more works of art, with a FREE THEME, in the categories PAINTING, SCULPTURE, GRAPHICS, PHOTOGRAPHY, DIGITAL ART.

The Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista is the oldest of the existing Scuole Grandi in Venice, founded in 1261.
Located since 1301 next to the church of the same name, it soon became an important center thanks to the acquisition, in 1369, of a relic of the Cross of Christ, which increased its prestige and social influence.
Over time, the building was enriched by renowned architects and artists, including Pietro Lombardo, creator of the famous marble septum, and Mauro Codussi, who designed the monumental staircase.
The Oratory Hall housed the famous “Miracles of the Cross,” featuring works by Bellini, Carpaccio, and Perugino. In the 16th century, Tiziano and Jacopo Palma il Giovane contributed to the Sala dell’Albergo, while Domenico Tintoretto added a cycle depicting the life of Saint John.
The Chapter Hall, the beating heart of the Scuola, was completely renovated in the 18th century: it was enlarged and enriched with a magnificent polychrome marble floor, an altar dedicated to Saint John, and a ceiling frescoed with an imposing cycle on the Apocalypse, still visible today.
With its artistic and historical richness, the Scuola is a true jewel of Venetian heritage.

Writer, playwright, and art critic, Roberto Litta has nurtured a deep passion for Italian history and art.
He has gained extensive experience in the field of cultural communication, collaborating with specialized magazines, museum institutions, and editorial projects dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
Appreciated for his direct and passionate style, Litta is often a guest on cultural programs on RAI networks, where he offers critical analyses of exhibitions, artists, and current trends in the art scene.
He has curated important exhibitions in Italy and abroad, standing out for his attention to emerging talents and his commitment to enhancing contemporary creativity in dialogue with historical heritage.
As an art critic, he stands out for an innovative approach that connects artworks to history, sociological conditions, and philosophical currents of their time.
He has curated numerous exhibitions at the national and international level and is the author and host of Arte Italia, a television program dedicated to Italian artistic heritage.
In 2024, he created the catalogue raisonné of Nelvis Fornasin’s works, contributing to one of the most important studies on Neapolitan painting, and he chaired the Biennale of Vigevano and presides over the jury of the Biennale della Riviera Romana.

His presence at art events guarantees expertise, sensitivity, and authority—qualities that make him a key figure in the art world.
The Artista d’Europa 25 Award will be promoted on L’Espresso.

To limit the environmental impact caused by the use of printing paper, inks and transportation, PitturiAmo chooses to minimize the printing and shipping of promotional material. Catalogs, certificates, brochures and everything not strictly necessary for the promotion of events and artists will be distributed exclusively in electronic format.

Is it compulsory to pay registration fee?
The registration fee must be paid only in case of selection and only if you actually decide to participate in the Prize. No obligation is required following the submission of the application. You will be able to decide, in complete serenity, to participate and therefore pay the registration fee only after being selected.
What is the cost of participation and when will I have to pay?
The amount of 260,00 € can be paid by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal. The membership will be confirmed only and exclusively upon receipt of the admission fee. ATTENTION! You are entitled to a 25% discount if you join PitturiAmo.
The membership is free, lasts 1 year, and offers numerous benefits. You can also do this during the event registration.
N.B.: After 14 days from payment it will not be possible to withdraw from the purchase.
How many artworks can I submit?
It is possible to participate with one or more works (there is a discount for participation with more works), which you will have to send via email using the form on this page (to send more works it is not necessary to fill in the registration form several times, you can send all of them via email to info@pitturiamo.com). If you have difficulty sending the image, contact our editorial team at the email address redazione@pitturiamo.eu, or via WhatsApp.
What are the categories in the competition?
You can submit your artwork in one of the following categories: painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital art.
Where the artworks will be exhibited?
All admitted artworks will be video-exhibited at the Artespaziotempo gallery from December 6 to 16, 2025.
By whom will my works be judged?
All admitted works will be judged by the artistic commission of PitturiAmo.
How are prizes awarded?
The jury will evaluate all the works received and will announce the winners after the closing of the prize. All other participating artists will be informed by online communication, through PitturiAmo ’s channels.
What does becoming a member of the PitturiAmo association involve?
Becoming a member of PitturiAmo is free and comes with numerous benefits. A 25% discount on all events promoted by PitturiAmo, a 50% discount on some of PitturiAmo’s top services (such as personal websites and search engine optimization), and direct admission to awards (no prior evaluation required).
Membership lasts one year and is renewed each time you participate in a PitturiAmo event.
There’s no reason not to become a member.

What awards will I receive?
All participants will receive a certificate of merit. The winners will receive cash prizes, a plaque, and a certificate of winning with motivation from the Jury.
Can I exhibit live?
Live exhibition is not planned for this award. If you would like to display your works physically, please contact our editorial team at redazione@pitturiamo.eu, or via WhatsApp to inquire about availability.
Is there a commission fee for PitturiAmo in case of sale of the artwork?
No, however, there is a commission for the hosting gallery equal to 25% of the sale price.
