The Artist of Europe Award 2026 – Top Selection Paris was created to offer artists something that goes beyond simple exhibition: a path that combines international visibility, professional evaluation, recognition and access to the art market.
On December 11, 2026, the participating works will be the protagonists of the final day at the Picasso Museum in Paris. Each artist will receive an Artistic-Commercial Evaluation, the official certificate of the Prize and will be included in the catalog of the event, also published on Amazon with an ISBN code.
All will also compete for the € 6,000 in prizes for the first three classified.
But the path can go further.
Artists can present a real Author’s Project of 5 works and access the MEET 1 TO 1 with Serafino Gianluca Neri, an expert in the art market with professional experience in Italy, France and the United Kingdom.
It is from here that the Prize opens its doors to the Paris auction market, with reference to the ecosystem of Hôtel Drouot, the historic international center of the Parisian art market.
Among the artists who will choose the complete path, Neri will also select 6 artists for the Top Selection Paris, which will be published in Terres D’Artiste Magazine and included in the permanent archive PitturiAmo.top, alongside the winners of the previous Top Selections.

The Artist of Europe Award 2026 – Top Selection Paris is open to contemporary, emerging or established artists working in the different expressions of the visual arts.

The Artist of Europe Award 2026 – Top Selection Paris is giving away a total of €6,000, intended for the three winning artists:
1ST PRIZE — 3.000 €
Awarded to the first classified artist.

The 6 selected artists will get:

What all artists admitted to the final phase receive
Getting to the final stage of the Artist of Europe Award 2026 – Top Selection Paris means being the protagonists of the final day of December 11, 2026 in Paris and accessing a series of benefits provided for all participating artists.
Presentation of the work at the Picasso Museum in Paris
Each artist will have their work presented during the final day of the Prize, in an international context dedicated to the enhancement of contemporary art.
Artistic Evaluation with Commercial Positioning Index
An Artistic-Commercial Evaluation will be carried out for each artist, aimed at providing the artist with an indication of the positioning of his work and its potential in the auction market. The evaluation will be personally signed and stamped by Gianluca Neri on December 11, 2026 at the Picasso Museum.
N.B.: The document will be issued exclusively to the first 100 artists who confirm their membership by paying the registration fee.
Official Certificate
Each artist will receive the Certificate of Participation in the Artist of Europe Award 2026, delivered on stage during the final event at the Picasso Museum.
Publication in the Official Catalogue
The works will be included in the official Catalogue of the Prize, which will be:

Gianluca Neri lives the art world from the inside: he has evaluated and authenticated works for some of the most important auction houses in Italy and France, and directed a gallery in the United Kingdom.
Recognized as a Court-Appointed Expert Witness (C.T.U., CTU 65/2010), it now puts this experience at the service of artists and collectors through a professional network active in these three markets — with the possibility of access to the international market through Drouot, the main square in Paris, which connects the most important European operators in the sector.

The Commercial Valuation Certificate with IPC
An Artistic-Commercial Evaluation will be carried out for each artist, aimed at analyzing its artistic characteristics, positioning and potential in the art market.
The evaluation will include the Commercial Positioning Index (IPC), a parameter developed by PitturiAmo to provide a synthetic indication of the level of commercial positioning of the work, taking into account its artistic profile and its potential placement on the market.
The document will be personally signed and stamped by Gianluca Neri on December 11, 2026 at the Picasso Museum in Paris.
N.B.: Only the first 100 artists who confirm their adherence to any mode of participation (Video Exhibition, Authorial Project, Mett 1 to 1, Global Artsiat Referral) will obtain the Commercial Evaluation Certificate with IPC.

The portal was created with a precise function: to offer qualified and permanent visibility to Top Selection artists, presenting them in an autonomous context, distinct from the network’s generalist website. Here there are not thousands of indistinct profiles, but a targeted selection of artists who have demonstrated quality, consistency and design maturity.

The Author’s Project is designed for artists who wish to go beyond the presentation of a single work and tell their artistic identity in a structured way.
The artist presents an organic project consisting of 5 works, linked by a stylistic, conceptual or narrative thread. During the final day of the Artist of Europe Award 2026 – Top Selection Paris, at the Picasso Museum in Paris, the works will be projected on a large screen while the artist will have the opportunity to take the stage and personally present his project, illustrating its research, language, inspirations and creative path.
It is an opportunity not to be perceived simply through a work, but to make one’s artistic vision understood as a whole, building a more complete, recognizable and professional presentation.
The Author’s Project therefore allows you to give greater depth to your presence at the event, enhance the coherence of your production and offer your interlocutors in the art world a clearer reading of your research.
For organizational reasons and for the time available on stage, only 30 artists will be able to present their Author Project in Paris.

An individual discussion with Serafino Gianluca Neri dedicated to the commercial analysis of 5 works and their possible prospects on the market, aimed at entering the auction. Only 30 artists will be able to access the free guided tour at the Hotel Drouot .
GLOBAL ARTIST REFERRAL
The most complete path, which integrates the various tools of presentation, authorial in-depth analysis and commercial analysis provided by the project. Only 30 artists will have the opportunity to present their Artistic Project and access the guided tour at the Hotel Drouot .

What is the difference between the Artist’s Coefficient and the Certificate of Economic Evaluation with IPC?
They are two different and complementary tools .
The Artist’s Coefficient is a parameter attributed to the artist and is used to uniformly determine the indicative price of his works, relating the coefficient to the size of the work. It therefore concerns the artist and the overall economic positioning of his production .
The Certificate of Economic Evaluation, on the other hand, concerns the single work presented for the Prize. The document contains an artistic-commercial evaluation of the work and the related IPC – Commercial Positioning Index, developed to express its potential positioning in the market and, in particular, in the context of auctions .
In summary: the Artist Coefficient helps to define how much to offer on the market for an artist’s works; the IPC, on the other hand, analyzes the commercial positioning of a specific work specifically in relation to auctions .
What are the cash prizes ?
All admitted artists compete for the three main prizes :

The method of participation chosen does not change the right to compete

What is Drouot and what role can i play in the path to the auction market ?
Drouot is one of the main international references in the art auction market in Paris, an environment in which auction houses, experts, collectors and professionals in the sector operate .
The aim of the project is to help artists understand whether their works have characteristics and a commercial positioning suitable for the auction market. When the conditions emerge, a path aimed at the possible presentation of the works in the Parisian professional circuit can be evaluated, also through realities that operate in the Drouot ecosystem.
Access to the auction, however, is not automatic or guaranteed: any proposal will depend on the evaluation of the works and the subsequent decisions of the professionals involved .
What is the Top Selection Paris ?
The Top Selection Paris is a special selection made by Serafino Gianluca Neri as part of the 2026 Artist of Europe Award . Neri will identify 6 artists among all the artists admitted to the Prize (in any way), based on the quality and potential of their work .
Do I have to choose the Global Artist Referral to compete for the Top Selection ?

What is Video Exposure ? It is the simplest and most immediate way to participate in the Prize.
It allows the artist to present one or more works as part of the final event at the Picasso Museum, obtain the benefits provided and compete for both cash prizes and the Top Selection Paris .
Can I participate with more than one work ?
Yes. It is possible to register one or more works.
For those who present more works, there are favorable economic conditions depending on the number of works registered .
What is the Author’s Project ?
The Author’s Project is designed for those who do not want to present only individual works, but want to tell their artistic identity through a coherent corpus of 5 works.
The artist personally presents his research, his language and the path that characterizes his artistic production on the stage of the Picasso Museum, while the 5 works are shown in video exhibition on the big screen behind him .
Do I have to be personally present in Paris ?
Not necessarily .
Ordinary participation in the Prize can also take place without the physical presence of the artist . Some services, however, are built around the presence and direct involvement of the artist. This is the case, in particular, of the presentation of the Author’s Project on the stage of the Picasso Museum.
What is 1-to-1 Market Analysis ?
It is an individual meeting with Serafino Gianluca Neri during which 5 works by the artist are analyzed from a commercial point of view . The goal is not simply to attribute an economic value to the works, but to understand which ones may have adequate characteristics and potential for possible development in the professional art market .
Who is Serafino Gianluca Neri ?
Serafino Gianluca Neri is an art market professional with experience in the evaluation and authentication of works, in relations with the Italian and international market and with the auction house circuit . His presence in the project has a precise function: to offer artists a comparison oriented not only to artistic quality, but also to the potential commercial placement of the works .
Does the Market Analysis guarantee that my work will be included in the auction ?
No .
The Market Analysis is used to verify whether the conditions exist to further develop the commercial path of one or more works . Only after this analysis can the opportunity to proceed towards the auction market be assessed and the methods, works involved and conditions will be defined .
So the Prize guarantees the inclusion of works at auction ?
No .
The Prize creates a path that can put the artist in contact with professionals and market opportunities, but inclusion in the auction cannot be guaranteed a priori .The evaluation must necessarily precede any possible proposal .
If a work is offered at auction, is the sale guaranteed ?
No. As is normally the case in the auction market, no one can guarantee that a work will be awarded.
The goal is to identify works potentially suitable for the market and, when the conditions exist, to build a professional path to propose them correctly .
What relationship does the project have with the Paris auction market?
One of the objectives of the project is to create a concrete link between artistic promotion and the Parisian professional market, with particular attention to the auction circuit . However, any development towards the auction takes place only after an analysis of the works and does not constitute an automatism deriving from registration for the Prize .
What is Global Artist Referral ?
The Global Artist Referral is the path intended for artists who want to use the tools made available by the project in an integrated way . It should not be confused with the Top Selection: the Global Artist Referral is a service and a career path, while the Top Selection is a selection made by Neri from among all the artists admitted to the Award . As a result, choosing the Global Artist Referral does not guarantee entry into the Top Selection, just as choosing an easier way does not prevent you from being selected .
What is the difference between the Artistic-Commercial Valuation and the 1-to-1 Market Analysis ?
The Artistic-Commercial Evaluation is one of the benefits related to participation and concerns the registered works . The 1-to-1 Market Analysis , on the other hand, is an individual in-depth analysis: 5 works are examined directly with Gianluca Neri with the aim of reasoning about their concrete commercial prospects and possible subsequent development .
Does being selected in the Top Selection mean being selected for an auction ?
No. They are two different selections.
The Top Selection Paris identifies 6 particularly interesting artists in the context of the Prize . Why participate with several works if I can compete for the Top Selection even with just one ?
Because they are different objectives . A single work already allows you to participate in the Prize and compete for the Top Selection. Presenting more works or choosing a more in-depth path allows you to better tell your research, show the continuity of your language and obtain a more articulated analysis of your production.
Therefore, one does not acquire a greater formal possibility of being selected: one simply chooses a different level of in-depth study and enhancement .
